The "Lighthouse of Words" is a new and modern Center for Special Treatments and Studies that opened its doors in the heart of Karditsa in 2021, ready to welcome children, teenagers and adults. Our Center provides all the necessary Special Education services for the assessment and support of children, adolescents and adults. Our goal is the prevention, early detection and effective treatment of speech and feeding, movement, learning and behavior disorders.

At the same time, our concern is the integration of students with learning difficulties with their classmates, strengthening their teamwork and performance in educational requirements. Our courses are conducted with the most modern teaching methods, using audio-visual material, board games, and our specially designed Game Room. Our approach turns class into play and play into learning, breaking down the taboos of "boring classes" and fostering creativity.

Our therapists have high scientific training and expertise, while love for the child and the person is the core of our services. Katerina Vakuftsi, with her high scientific training, and Vassilis Fourmouzis, as an official external partner, offer the necessary knowledge and experience for the excellent operation of the center.

The "Lighthouse of Words" is here to support every child and adult and offer them the appropriate educational and therapeutic services, so that they achieve their maximum potential. We are pioneers in our city in the use of neuromuscular banding and in the use of neuromuscular electrical stimulation and surface electromyogram that provide immediate results.
